Why we built this
In most accountancy practices, the same scene plays out every day. The practice manager opens Teams, Outlook and a spreadsheet, then spends the morning asking each person "what are you working on?" and "where are we with that?"
Meanwhile, client requests arrive through five different channels. Urgent items get buried. Whoever shouts loudest gets attention. Staff don't know they're overloaded until they're already drowning.
Clientkeep exists to fix that. One place where the whole team can see who needs what, by when, and who's on it. No heavy CRM setup. No busywork. Just enough structure to reduce the risk of work getting lost.
Clientkeep is led by Shamshad Awan, a practising UK accountant who still works in a firm and encounters these problems every day. Every decision is shaped by what actually helps a busy practice, not what looks good in a demo.

Shamshad Awan is Clientkeep’s founder and a practising accountant. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Association of International Accountants (AIA). Clientkeep grew from the workflow problems she encounters in practice every day.
